Exhibition dome at Science city Ahemdabad

The Planet Earth pavilion is spread over an area of 9,000 square metres (97,000 sq ft). It has an earth-shaped dome with diameter of 50 metres (160 ft), one of the largest in the country. It has exhibits and rides about natural disasters, disaster management, planetarium, natural resources and its conservation. It has more than 650 exhibits.Located off the Sarkhej Gandhinagar Highway, Science City is an ambitious initiative of the government of Gujarat to trigger an inquiry of science in the mind of a common citizen with the aid of entertainment and experiential knowledge. Covering an area of more than 107 hectares, the idea is to create imaginative exhibits, virtual reality activity corners, and live demonstrations in an easily understandable manner.
Gujarat Science City is a bold initiative of the Government of Gujarat to realize this priority.
